Job DescriptionHealth Advocates Network is currently seeking a Psychologist 1099 to work at a Facility in Bakersfield, CA. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $155 / hour *1099 Shift:
- 40 hours, M-F, Saturdays are an option as well

- This is a 1099 position
- Avg length of stay 90 days - 2 years. Client is ICE, will need full clearance
- Adults, Male and Female population
- Avg 60-120 days to clear.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessing Mental Health:
- Conducting interviews, tests, and observations to evaluate clients' mental health.
- Diagnosing psychological conditions, such as depression, anxiety, or personality disorders.
- Providing Therapy/Counseling:
- Offering individual or group therapy to help clients address emotional, behavioral, or cognitive issues.
- Using various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis, or humanistic therapy.
- Developing Treatment Plans:
- Creating personalized treatment plans based on assessments and client needs.
- Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
- Conducting Research:
- Studying mental health topics, behavioral patterns, and treatment outcomes.
- Publishing research findings or contributing to academic and professional knowledge.
- Providing Support and Guidance:
- Helping clients cope with life changes, trauma, or personal challenges.
- Advising families, schools, or organizations on mental health issues.
- Collaborating with Other Professionals:
- Working with doctors, social workers, or other mental health professionals to provide holistic care.
- Referring clients to specialists if additional care is needed.
- Documenting and Reporting:
- Keeping detailed records of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes.
- Writing reports or providing testimony in legal or clinical settings, when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Psychologist
- Must be proficient in the English language and be able to communicate effectively
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Must have the required licenses, permits, and/or certifications in the state of CA
