Wholesale Specialist - Ship Essential : Job Details

Ship Essential is seeking an experienced Wholesale Specialist to manage the processing of all wholesale orders from our Sunset Park warehouse. This role is critical in ensuring that orders to both national and smaller retailers are processed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with retailer guidelines to avoid chargebacks. Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Pick, pack, and ship wholesale orders, ensuring adherence to retailer compliance guidelines.
• Quality Checks: Conduct quality checks on products before packing and shipping to ensure they meet brand standards.
• Compliance Management: Ensure 100% compliance with retailer requirements, minimizing the risk of chargebacks.
• Communication: Coordinate with brands, carriers, and internal departments (inbound, outbound, customer support) to schedule freight pickups, secure shipping labels, and resolve issues.
• ERP and EDI Management: Work with brand ERP systems and EDI needs, ensuring accurate data transfer and communication.
• Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory designated for wholesale, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all shipments.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all fulfilled orders, documenting any issues or discrepancies, and reporting them to the relevant parties.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Freight and Label Coordination: Schedule freight pickups and manage the securing of labels, ensuring all shipments are timely and compliant.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in wholesale fulfillment, retailer compliance, and EDI.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring compliance and accuracy in all aspects of order processing and shipping.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wholesale orders and compliance.
