This is a full-time position based in the Bloomsburg Tapestry of Health location.RequirementsThe Client Assistant is responsible for conducting outreach activities, disseminating SNAP and WIC information, pre-screening clients, and initiating the electronic application process. The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties to ensure the delivery of WIC and SNAP benefits. The candidate would also be responsible for providing nutrition education and breastfeeding support.? Hourly pay ranges from $18.46 - $22.00, based upon experience. The work week is 37.5 hours per week and may include an occasional evening and weekend.? Reliable transportation and a valid PA driver's license are required for travel within the following counties: Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland Counties. High School Diploma or GED is required. The successful candidate will possess the following skills; strong verbal and written communication, time management and prioritization, computer literacy including Microsoft 365, and the ability to relate well with all adult age groups. Child Protection Clearances (formerly Act 153 Clearances ) The following clearances and background checks are required upon employment and as a condition of continued employment:

• PA Child Abuse History Clearance (PACA)
