  • Provide administration of servers in a virtualized server environment using VMware and or Hyper-V management tools.
  • Provide administration of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 in a virtualized server environment, i.e. Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.
  • Provide implementation and administration of DNS and associated networking services.
  • Effectively monitor Windows Servers using advanced built-in features as well as 3rd party tools.
  • Troubleshoot server system problems, utilizing available tools and working in coordination with other internal groups and vendor-provided technical support resources.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues related to routing, firewalls, and DMZ architecture.
  • Work with other unit members to monitor and ensure compliance with corporate security policies.
  • Use a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Document complex system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Certifications:
  • MCSE and MCSA.
  • Experience in cloud platforms, AWS and Azure preferred.
