Willing to train- We need 2 cable harness assemblers. Summary: Works as an intermediate level production team member that can build up to 50 percent of all products to completion and works under immediate supervision of assigned Production lead(s) or Supervisor and reports to the Production Manager at our Gilbert, AZ facility. In general, the Assembly Technician provides good judgment and ethic when building assemblies, drives to meet or exceed time goals for each job performed, and work within a team environment to support the company goals and mission. An Assembly Tech should have the ability to fabricate mission critical assemblies by performing Cuts, strip, crimp, terminate, and continuity check wire assemblies. Utilize solder pots, solder irons, crimp tooling, wire cutters, laser wire strippers, digital calipers, and other hand tools to assemble units per customer specifications, drawings or manufacturing process instructions. This is an intermediate assembly technician 2 position. The next advancement to Assembly Technician 3 can be obtained when the technician can assemble up to 100 percent of all products to completion to include Box Couplers, Point to Point wire harnesses, Data Bus couplers harnesses, Connectors, Terminators, LRU's, Fiber Optic assemblies, Space assemblies. Responsibilities:

- Communicate clearly with Procurement department and suppliers as needed.
- Work to meet customer & internal production schedules.
- Maintain high level of integrity dealing with all departments within the organization
- Identify process improvements.
- Maintain work area to appropriate standards, based on 6S methodologies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures described in Employment Manual.
- Drive to meet or exceed time goals for each job performed.
- Learn to utilize the company operating system as related to Production and job function.
Job Requirements Competency:
- Ability to read, understand and execute both written and verbal instructions such as blueprints and electrical wiring schematics.
- Ability to read scales, Tape measures, Calipers,
- Ability to retain large amounts of data and to execute task at hand using that data at a later time.
- Ability to use tools such as Side Cutters, Crimpers, Wire Strippers, Special Jigs, Press tools.
- Basic Computer skills
- Complete tasks within a timely manner.
- Work individually and handle multitasking.
- Ability to take instructions and communicate instructions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
- Work from engineering drawings/specs, engineering change notices or established operating procedures.
- Experience with PC skills (Microsoft Office-Excel, Word).
- Skilled using measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
- Effective communication skills, Motivated, Self-starter, punctual
Preferred Knowledge:
- Past soldering experience.
- Past Fiber Optics assembly process.
- Past Cable Over braid experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in Aerospace Manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Use of Form Board during assembly process.
- Injection over mold process.
- Certified to J-STD-001 Solder Workmanship.
- Certified to IPC-A-610/620 Wire Harness Workmanship.
- Certified to NASA 8739.4 Standards
