**UH Lakewood Medical Center** is located between Kansas City and Lee's Summit, Missouri, offering residents of Eastern Jackson County access to a modern community hospital with a continuum of outpatient services designed to meet the needs of families. UH Lakewood specializes in high-risk maternal and child care, and serves as one of the few Kansas City metro area institutions accredited by The Joint Commission in Orthopedics and Palliative Care. **UH Behavioral Health** is the KC metro area's largest, most comprehensive provider of mental health services. The **Crossroads Building** , located in Kansas City's vibrant Crossroads Arts District, is its epicenter, providing a broad list of outpatient services. We also offer psychiatric inpatient care, and we deliver therapeutic services through our community outreach clinics. We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations.

**Job Description**

**Design, implement, manage and coordinate Women's Behavioral Health education programs to increase awareness and knowledge for the improvement of maternal health and outcomes in the community. Prepare and manage grant proposals and related budget. Analyze and report assessment data to appropriate authorities. Develop policies and procedures consistent with program objectives.**

**Minimum Requirements:**

**Master's degree in a related field, or the equivalent in a combination of education and relevant experience.**

**Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology, and Licensed in the State of Missouri as a Psychologist**

**2 years' experience working in behavioral health with experience specific to women's health. Knowledge of current maternal health issues; community health planning, coalition building skills; strategic planning methods and techniques.**

**Extensive training and experience working Women's Health and Perinatal (maternal) populations.**

**Ability to organize work, multi-task, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow-up on community health events with presenters and/or participants.**

**Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Considerable skill in making presentations to large and small groups.**

**Knowledge of data analysis and data collection.**

**Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel software.**
