Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour Bonney Staffing has partnered with an elite furniture builder whose mission is to establish a community that allows their employees to make a living doing the work they love in their large facility, that comprises of 50 fine craftsmen and women who are designers and makers of functionally-driven, handmade furniture of the highest quality in both materials and woodworking expertise. Wood Worker job in Auburn, Maine is responsible for applying the oils, lacquer, varnishes and polyurethanes to the wood product. Other duties could include making samples to match customer color requests, ability to do touch-ups on finished products as needed and repair defective parts such as dented or scratched pieces. Do you have experience as an auto body painter or a wall painter? Do you have an appreciation for handcrafted fine furniture and sensitivity to ensuring the product arrives at its destination safely? This could be for you! This is a full-time, first Shift long term position. Wood Worker Qualifications:

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Quality and attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
• Adaptable to change and be willing to be innovative
• Ability to use and maintain basic hand tools and measure accurately
• Prior cabinetmaking experience is preferred, but not essential
• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solutions and solve problems
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Problem solving, time management, prioritizing and decision-making abilities
• Responsible for ensuring that all products passed to the next area meet the company's quality standards.
• Responsible to instruct and train other associates
• Ability to maintain all spray equipment
• Be willing to work in other departments as required
• Ability to collaborate and communicate in support of a team environment and seek clarity in communications with others
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in order to meet customer ship dates

Wood Worker Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7a-4p and Friday 7a-1p (flexibility required)
• Pay Rate: $20-23/hr_Depending on experience
• Start Date: ASAP
