Work Visa Program Coordinator - Peri & Sons Farms : Job Details

Peri & Sons Farms is seeking applications for a full-time Work Visa Program Coordinator in Yerington, NV.? This position may be a hybrid (partially remote/partially on-site) position.? It is a JD-preferred position, and prior experience practicing as an immigration attorney (or equivalent experience) is desired.?Position Summary:The position coordinates the company?s H-2A agricultural work visa program.? Some of the job functions include:Drafting, reviewing, and overseeing the filing of job orders and work visa applications with regulatory agencies; preparing correspondence and other filings for such agencies.Assisting with the forecasting labor needs and ensuring that job orders and other filings comport with and support the labor needs.?Ensuring compliance with all H-2A program requirements.?Overseeing or assisting with H-2A program logistics, including worker transportation, meals, housing, arrivals, etc.?Staying apprised of H-2A regulatory developments and other industry developments; partnering with other departments to ensure proper labor planning, as well as proper and lawful usage of the H-2A program within regulatory parameters.? ?Managing and providing lead direction to others.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree and Juris Doctorate.?One or more years of experience working in immigrationPhysical Demands and Work Environment:This position primarily works in an office setting and/or remotely but may occasionally need to be present in a field, packing facility, or mechanic shop setting. ?Compensation:Starting base salary will be at or above market and will depend on the candidate?s qualifications.? Eligibility for discretionary profit-sharing bonuses after 1 year.?
