DescriptionPosition at SBM ManagementSBM Management is searching for aProject Manager, Workday! The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end migration of UKG to Workday across the SBM organization. The Workday PM will proactively plan project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, and track and report on progress. This role will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, IT, and executives to align project objectives with business needs, and will serve as primary point of contact for all project related communication and updates.Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end migration of UKG to Workday, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Proactively plan project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, and track progress against them.
  • Anticipate and address risks or challenges, providing timely resolutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Finance, Time Tracking, and more) to guide the migration process.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure effective configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, Finance, IT, and executives, to align project objectives with business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication and updates.
  • Coordinate with Workday implementation partners and third-party vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Manage vendor deliverables, SLAs, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Provide cost analysis and reporting to leadership.
  • Define project scope and manage changes effectively to avoid scope creep.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership and executives.
  • Communicate technical details in clear business language to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Workday implementation and migration projects.
  • 12 years in project management.
  • Budget and cost management expertise.
  • Vendor and partner management experience.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Workday certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing multiple migrations from UKG to Workday.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale enterprise software migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of all major Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Time Tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale enterprise software migrations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with Workday configuration, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Expertise in proactive project planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Strong command over project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in business-friendly terms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.Ability to create and deliver impactful executive-level presentations.
