Demonstrated ability to represent Infirmary Health at various meetings with colleges and school systems, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations to develop positive relationships which support workforce growth and development efforts,
Working knowledge of organizing, planning, budgeting, and executing events such as conferences, seminars, etc. at colleges, technical and high schools, and/or through social networking as applicable, writing or collaborating with other organizations to secure grants or other funding for program support, such as apprenticeship, educational, and learning programs.
Demonstrated ability to promote Infirmary Health and workforce development by creating, coordinating, and maintaining a formal internship program and various other student programs such as job shadowing. Facilitates school education agreements for student clinicals and processes observers using appropriate guidelines and polices.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally and externally regarding Infirmary Healths needs for high demand or hard to fill positions.
Responsibilities:Coordinates day to day activities to facilitate healthcare workforce development within the local community and service area. Provides technical expertise and education to facilitate appropriate training through local school programs and develops community education opportunities. Develops and conducts public presentations to make the service area business community aware of healthcare job opportunities.
