**POSITION PROFILE:**

A Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing and growing revenue and profits within his/her assigned geography by expanding opportunities in existing customers and acquiring new business. The key responsibility of a Sales Representative is to conduct business in a way that creates a superior customer experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as long term relationships and future product sales. Key responsibilities:

* Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to buy furniture.

* Develop and maintain relationships with influencers in the market including Architects, Designers, Contractors, Brokers and/or other influencers involved in or related to the furniture and design industry

* Drive sales through product and workplace knowledge which will enable you to align key business objectives of clients.

* Become a trusted resource and develop superior long term relationships with customers

* Successfully manage and overcome customer objections

* Update customer interaction in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management. Utilize saleforce.com daily to manage forecast

* Maintain an appropriate level of sales activity at all times by conducting a minimum number of sales appointments per week as designated by the Regional Leader

* Develop and deploy, individually and collaboratively, virtual and in person engagements with customers and influencers

* Work closely with internal and dealer resources to produce industry leading proposals and other sales materials.

* Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors products, prices and sales

* Partner with dealer/distribution personal to achieve objectives listed above

Required Skills

* Exhibits a work style that is high energy, highly influential and can be an aggressive closer

* Proven track record achieving measurable sales goals as assigned by Regional Leader and willing to accept responsibility for results

* Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including verbal, written and proposal form

* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, managers, outside and inside contacts

* Ability to work with their sales teams and be an individual contributor

* Positive and energetic with excellent listening skills and strong writing skills

* Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with the highest level of integrity

Required Experience

* BA/BS in Interior Design/Marketing/Business preferred

* Requires a minimum of three to five years selling experience

* Self-motivated, self-directed with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization
