xEV Sales Internship - Hitachi Astemo : Job Details

Responsibilities:

• This position will be based in Harrodsburg, KY.
• Support all aspects of Sales-related Functions for assigned Sales responsibilities.
• Support assigned team in Long Term Sales Strategy Formation.
• Support in preparation of Customer Quotations and Submission after Approval.
• Provide Organizational Leadership for all Customer-related issues where needed.
• Support interface between Japan & American-based customers.
• Support Preparation of Assigned Sales team Overhead and Expense budgets.
• Planning and Participation in Customer-related company events.
• Support the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility programs (CSR/CAC).
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service and response time both Externally and Internally.
• Have the ability to work with all levels of Staff in the organization as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of information is required.
• Maintaining a safe workplace and following all regulations and requirements related to safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications / Skills:

• English: Fluent in written and verbal communication.
• Good leadership, negotiation, organization, and presentation skills are a must
• Ability to lead and/or participate in meetings effectively.
• Possess the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Additionally, the ability to work independently once direction is given, will be considered.

Education: On track to receive a bachelor's in the following Sales, marketing, or business administration.

Experience: Applicable experience outside the classroom, and demonstrated knowledge outside classroom settings.

Working Conditions:

Physical Demands: Sitting and standing for extended periods of time in an office and industrial lab environment. Capable of lifting equipment and apparatus repetitively weighing between 25lbs to 30lbs.

Travel: Ability to travel domestically as needed.
