Focus:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prepare required reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to radiologic technology.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in radiography and imaging technology.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and effective communication.
Skill Set:
- Formal training in radiologic technology from an AMA-approved school is required.
- Must hold ARRT registration in radiography and possess a valid IEMA license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopic techniques.
- Commitment to patient care and a patient-focused approach during all procedure.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
