Title: X-Ray Technician

Location: New York, NY, 10003

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, (7.5 Hours x 5 Days)

Duration: 09-Weeks Contract

Pay Range: $55 to $60 per hour

Job Description:

• Builds a good relationship with patients to understand their needs, ease their anxieties, explain treatments, and answer any questions they have.
• Gets the patient ready for the procedure by positioning them correctly, setting up the equipment, and adjusting settings for the best results.
• Reduces radiation exposure by using safety measures, shielding the patient, and adjusting the equipment correctly.
• Ensure high-quality images by following guidelines, processing the images, and adjusting when necessary.
• Take care of equipment and supplies by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, keeping track of inventory, and staying up to date on new techniques.

Required Skills:

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT R Required.
• New York State License (L.R.T).
