Yarn Clerk - Tarkett : Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:

• COMBINE AND STAGE YARN LOTS FOR YARN MILL MACHINES
• ASSEMBLE YARN ORDERS AS ASSIGNED BY SCHEDULE
• ACCURATELY RELOCATE YARN LOTS/RECONCILE INVENTORY
• PULL YARN FOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AS NEEDED.
• KEEP ACCURATE RECORDS OF ALL YARN PULLED
• CREATE SHIPPING MANIFEST AND LOAD TRAILERS
• UNLOAD YARN AND ACCURATELY ADD TO INVENTORY
• KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN AND SAFE AT ALL TIMES.
• OTHER DUTIES AS INSTRUCTED BY THE SUPERVISOR

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT, REACH, BEND, KNEEL AND PUSH
• ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY
• MUST HAVE NO WRITTEN WARNINGS IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS
• ABILITY TO PERFORM BASIC MATH
• ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE AS REQUIRED BY THE JOB
• ABILITY TO OPERATE A SQUEEZE LIFT TRUCK
• MUST HAVE AS 400 AND CAMS EXPERIENCE
• MUST WORK OVERTIME ON SHORT NOTICE
