Zamboni Operator - ASM Global : Job Details

This position is responsible for the preparation and operation of the ice resurfacing equipment during hockey practice and games, as well as ice maintenance functions. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates the Zamboni during hockey games and practices, maintaining the ice to AHL standards. Ability to use an Edger and change the Zamboni blades. Performs maintenance, repairs, and service on ice equipment (Zamboni and Edger)Completes all required log reports for the Zamboni and also for ice maintenance. Performs ice depth checks as needed. Completes a game day checklist. Checks dasherboards, glazing, and related components prior to ice resurfacing functions. Performs other tasks as assigned. WORK CONTACTS:Operations Staff; event day contact with hockey team personnel. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
