Job Description :
Summary: Solicits business for Thermoforming products Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops leads by identifying prospective customers based on information from CRM, management, established customers, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, tradeshows, websites, and other sources
  • Prepares sales promotions and emails to be sent to prospective customers
  • Researches and contacts current accounts and prospective businesses, identifies the decision maker, interviews decision maker, and performs needs assessment
  • Delivers sales presentations to clients
  • Explains methods of reproduction
  • Quotes pricing and negotiates customer contracts
  • Submits formal bids for approval
  • Negotiates and closes deals with clients
  • Forecasts sales activities on assigned accounts
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into the CRM database
  • Works with clients and Project Coordinators to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives of new and revised projects
  • Monitors project execution and completion with internal staff
  • Communicates status of projects to customers and works to meet deadlines
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with customers and works to grow accounts
  • Monitors customer project progress, helps to address issues as they arise, and communicates this information appropriately to the client, Project Coordinator and/or other staff as necessary
  • Provides support to internal staff regarding the product quality expectations of the client; knows what is acceptable and what is not acceptable form the customer's perspective
  • Anticipates client's expectations and feedback and is prepared to respond
  • Investigates and works to resolve customer problems/issues/concerns with Project Coordinators and other internal staff
  • Escalates customer problems/issues/concerns to supervisor when appropriate
  • Attends tradeshows as needed

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Computer Skills •Good knowledge of Windows based computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. •Experience with CRMs (Hub Spot preferred)Education, Knowledge and/or Experience•Bachelors degree from a college or university in the field of sales, marketing or business•3 or more years related experience in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.•1 or more years plastics packaging operations, customer service or sales experience preferred Language Skills •Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and/or legal documents. •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and/or employees, managers and vendors •Ability to write reports and business correspondence Mathematical Skills •Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals•Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs Reasoning Ability •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists •Ability to interpret an extensive variety of financial information and technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
