Job DescriptionCarrier Enterprise currently has an exciting Warehouse Associate opportunity at our Richmond, VA location. CE operates primarily in the business to business (B2B) environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliverand service Carrier, Bryant Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. SUMMARY The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day warehouse upkeep, including picking and verifying orders, loading, and unloading of products, and inventory control using warehouse equipment and state of the art technology. The warehouse associate is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and distributing HVAC products, ensuring timely and efficient operations within the warehouse. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse Associate Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return Loading and unloading delivery vehicles Keeping an inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse Upholds Environmental Health and Safety standards Scanning products to ensure products are shipped to the right destination Works closely with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for delivery of products Provides excellent customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners) About Us Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. RequirementsQualifications: Warehouse Associate Proven experience in warehouse operations Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (Teambuilding) skills Proven commitment to customer service and a safe working environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle multiple tasks High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy PC skills and inventory and shipping/receiving systems experience Current Forklift certification Full-time and Part-time positions are available.
