Job Type Full-timeDescriptionVeteran's preference.Salary based on Experience Excellent Health, Dental, Vision & 401KOverview Helios Defense Solutions, LLC seeks a highly motivated, qualified Combatives Instructor immediately on a contract basis to perform Combative and Functional Fitness Training at Fort Riley, Kansas, per the Basic Combatives Course (Level I) Handbook and Tactical Combatives Course (Level II) Handbook. Qualified applicants must be flexible and innovative and employ scheduling techniques to minimize costs and maximize performance. Additionally, this position reports directly to the Lead Combatives Instructor and should possess high adaptability to handle diverse workload requirements, demonstrate responsiveness to short-notice calls for high-priority work, and exhibit exceptional adaptability skills.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :•Instruct and train service members on Levels 1 and 2 Combatives. •Train and travel as required to support a Post Combatives Team. •Able to instruct group fitness classes targeted at increasing both aerobic and anaerobic fitness through the involvement of complex, multi-joint movements of the total body.•Provide continuous improvement of the processes, contents, and tasks to increase the overall effectiveness of the project.•Provide updates and status of the effectiveness of the project•Able to work onsite, Monday thru Friday•Travel as required to support meetings and training.RequirementsRequired Qualifications •Must be a US Citizen.•US Army Combatives Master Trainer Certification•Experience instructing and training Levels 1 and 2 Combatives. •Shall be familiar with tactics and procedures of combat operations.•Certification in at least one of the following competencies: Personal Trainer, Group Fitness I Exercise Instructor, Sports Conditioning, or Strength and Conditioning.
