The primary purpose of your job is to help maintain a clean, safe, well-kept Hospital.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Maintains Safety of Physical Plant:

Responds to fire alarms and assist Fire Department

Knowledge of Fire Alarm Panel

Coordinates facility activities during Fire/Disaster Drills/Events

Trouble shoots Code Blue and/or Facility equipment failures

Working knowledge of B.A.S.

Maintains call list for Management Staff

Knowledge of cleaning waste lines, sinks, toilets

Ability to read valve charts and secure values in the event of broken pipes, etc.

Cleans entire facility per written procedures or specific oral instructions

Shower scrubs, spay cleans, removes floor finish, buffs, polishes and refinishes floors

Dry mops and damp mops floors

Extracts carpets

Hangs drapes

Washes windows, walls, furniture

Patches walls paints and hangs wall paper

Drives Hospital vehicle as needed

Shovels snow, salts walk, operates snow blower, sands driveways

Performs minor maintenance as required

Picks up sharp containers

Locks, unlocks doors and does security rounds

Moves furniture and offices as required

Completes work lists as assigned

Supports other departments as directed

**Qualifications**

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school completion preferred

EXPERIENCE

Willing to train
