POSITION PURPOSE:
Is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for various roles within the hospitality industry. This includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. The recruiter will play a key role in building a strong employer brand and providing a positive candidate experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with candidates, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Provide timely feedback to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage candidate records and track progress using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in creating compelling job descriptions and postings.
- Facilitate the decision-making process by providing hiring managers with detailed candidate evaluations and recommendations.
- Promote the company s brand and culture to potential candidates.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and industry associations to enhance the talent pipeline.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPIERENCE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with hiring managers and candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
