OH Fairfield Position Requirements The Warehouse Manager position will perform the following duties:
* Directs all warehouse operations including shipping and receiving product
* Handles management-related duties such as recruiting, retaining, and ensuring the proper training of quality employees in a positive, professional manner
* Ensures proper picking and loading operations
* Documents materials and supplies shipped
* Ensures proper sanitation as needed
* Manages all warehouse departmental expenses related to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
* Comfortable with high-volume shipping
* Extensive experience in planning work, setting goals
* Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
* Ability to develop rapport with customers and staff we well as maintain strong working relationships
* Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively to achieve team goals
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent 4-6 years of successful warehouse leadership in a supervisory/manager capacity.
Excellent knowledge of the storage and shipment of food, or similar products and material handling.
In depth knowledge of computer based inventory control system, warehouse management systems, relevant safety policies, practices and procedures.
Experience with regulatory agencies in the areas of Sanitation, DOT, OSHA, etc. Working knowledge of warehouse racking systems.
Requires strong computer skills. Work with Microsoft Office products on a daily basis.gh School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Management, Logistics or related field. 3+ years of progressively responsible managerial or supervisory experience in broadline food distribution warehouse operations involving multi-temperature environment with receiving, inventory control, and distribution.
