Job Profile: Sales Director
Location: New York, USA (Remote, preferably in New York)
Position: Sales Director
Reporting to: Directly to Management
Overview: The client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to launch its portfolio of prescription Rx Oral Solid Dosage products. We are geared up to launch 8-10 OSD Rx ANDA products in the next 3 to 9 months. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of sales experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry, overseeing sales strategies, operations, and leading a team of account managers and business development specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Business Planning: Develop and execute market plans, business plans, and successful launch of new products. Analyze market trends to identify the right product basket and opportunities for growth.
- Sales Strategy & Operations: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals. Oversee day-to-day sales operations and ensure efficient processes.
- Sales Forecasting & Strategic Planning: Conduct sales forecasting and develop strategic plans to ensure long-term success and profitability.
- Market Share Growth: Drive initiatives to increase market share and achieve a competitive edge in the industry.
- ROI & Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance and ensure a strong return on investment for sales activities.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage a team of account managers and business development specialists. Monitor performance and provide guidance to ensure targets are met.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of sales experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of launching products successfully in various pharmacy settings (chains, GPOs, PBMs). Products to be launched in our own label.
- Expertise in managing diverse product categories, from high-volume, low-margin products to niche, high-margin products.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong passion to build a successful company from scratch.
