ASSEMBLER: Located in State College, PA. this is NOT a remote work position.Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assembly of mechatronic systems using a combination of hand tools and power tools
  • Altering and/or fabricating parts using equipment such as an end mill, drill press, belt sander, band saw, etc.
  • Wiring of electro-mechanical systems utilizing available wire diagrams
  • Updating procedures and bills of material as needed to account for changes in product design.
  • Inspection of incoming parts to predetermined specifications.
  • Assembly and soldering of PCBs.
  • Performing detailed quality checks of products once built according to the Company's specifications.
MINIMUM JOB ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-year direct work experience in a manufacturing environment with electro-mechanical assembly and/or quality control.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics, including wiring diagrams.
  • Strong sense of pride in completing high-quality work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Masterful craftsmanship skills and a willingness to learn new things.
BONUS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES:
  • Certificate or degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronic Technology, or a related field preferred.

The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting. The individual must constantly talk, hear, stand, or sit for extended periods while using a computer, telephone, or other productivity devices to communicate with other personnel and conduct business. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Individuals frequently use their hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects and computer keyboards. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, squat, turn, twist, and smell. The individual must frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds and/ to routinely (several times a week is likely) lift, carry, push, pull, and/or maneuver up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.On a frequent and routine basis, this job also requires the individual to be physically present in a light industrial, temperature-controlled, air-filtered manufacturing area to communicate with others and conduct business. The noise levels in the facility can also vary widely in different regions and specific workspace restrictions are also possible. Occasional sitting, standing, moving forwards/backward/side-to-side, and working around machinery and moving parts is possible; exposure to electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, gases, chemicals, oils, sealants, solvents, and other compounds is possible.Site conditions will dictate the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye, hearing, and respiratory protection, a protective smock, steel-toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.
