The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Law Division seeks a full-time Agency Attorney Intern. Under the supervision and direction of the General Counsel, First Deputy General Counsel, and DDC's management team, the attorney intern will be expected to conduct various types of legal work as in-house counsels, including but not limited to:
The attorney intern will also assist DDC's Law Division with other assignments and projects, as needed, which may include matters that may relate to a wide array of topics.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from an accredited United States law school as defined in the Rules of the New York Court of Appeals (Sections 520.3 or 520.5) or admission to the New York State Bar.
Preferred SkillsSuccessful candidates must be organized and able to multi-task. Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as be highly organized and proficient with Microsoft Excel or similar software.
