JOB OVERVIEW: The Accounts Payable and Scanning Clerk will provide clerical support to the PHMC's Department of Specialized Health Services. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive invoices from vendors and type information into the electronic system to request payment.
  • Call vendors to resolve payment issues.
  • Proactively go to payer portals to retrieve invoices.
  • Operate scan equipment to create the best possible quality image.
  • Understand capture software (i.e., rotating, deleting, splitting, and moving pages).
  • Perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with other staff members
