JOB OVERVIEW: The Accounts Payable and Scanning Clerk will provide clerical support to the PHMC's Department of Specialized Health Services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive invoices from vendors and type information into the electronic system to request payment.
- Call vendors to resolve payment issues.
- Proactively go to payer portals to retrieve invoices.
- Operate scan equipment to create the best possible quality image.
- Understand capture software (i.e., rotating, deleting, splitting, and moving pages).
- Perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned.
SKILLS:
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with other staff members
