In this role, you will assemble Conveyors, Pulleys, Idlers, and other mechanical components required for custom material handling systems while working in a shop environment. You will be required to follow blueprint specific ations, operate hand and power tools and various lifting equipment. This is not an assembly line position.

* Review job tickets and pull necessary parts for assembly.

* Verify materials and set up the assembly process.

* Assemble parts to blueprint specs using hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.

* Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe manner.

* Lifting, pulling and pushing both physically and with mechanical assistance required

* Load product onto motor freight when needed and assist Shipping with various tasks including quality checks on final shipments.

* Paint product as needed

* Work in other areas or departments as assigned.

* Have the ability to work 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM. to 4:30 PM and Friday, 7:00 AM. to 3:30 PM

**Skills/Experience:**

* Requires average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English

* Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th

* Ability to use finer measuring instruments such as feeler gauges, Vernier calipers, and micrometer

* Background in assembly or installation and have good mechanical aptitude.

* Experience reading blueprints

* Ability to physically handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products

* Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the companys timekeeping policy and all other company policies

* Have the ability to consistently stand for an entire shift

* Ability to work in a team setting

* Accuracy

* Reliability
