Sales Associate Location: New York Job Description Ralph Pucci International seeking a New York-based Sales Associate. This individual will work in our gallery in Manhattan as a key member of our growing and dynamic East Coast team.
This individual will be a primary face to the RALPH PUCCI customer and will need to have an excellent knowledge of and a deep appreciation for our collections and designers. In addition, this person will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality and be willing to cultivate long-term and trusting relationships with our clients. Finally, this individual needs to have superb communication skills (both oral and written) as well as stellar organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate all client needs.
Job Requirements Responsibilities
Successfully maintain a full calendar of sales meetings, providing designers and clients with information on products, pricing, lead times, specifications, etc.
Be accountable for individual sales goals as defined by management
Completely manage the relationship between the client and RALPH PUCCI throughout the order process, tracking the order through the pipeline, following up with vendors and keeping the client aware of any production issues, working with our vendors on sample approvals and managing any issues during and after delivery
Drive new client relationships and nurture existing relationships with consistent follow-up
Provide accurate and timely reports to management, including call reporting and business updates
Attend industry events as needed and/or available
Quickly gain a deep knowledge of all new RALPH PUCCI products and other general information of interest to customers
Assist with the maintenance of gallery aesthetics, organization, and overall standards
Assist in preparation for events, opening, managing RSVP and door lists etc.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to work full-time in our NY gallery; this is not a remote position and there is no opportunity for remote work
3 to 5+ years of experience in an inside/outside sales closing role in the furniture industry
Experience managing a large book of accounts
Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Excellent time management skills
Strong self-reliance with the ability to problem-solve and make independent decisions in line with RALPH PUCCIs policies and procedures
Timely and thoughtful follow-up to creating trust and strong relationships with your accounts
Ability to identify and overcome objections throughout the full sales cycle
Passion for interior design, art and architecture
