**DODGE MECHANICAL POWER TRANSMISSION COMPANY**
**JOB TITLE/LOCATION:**
*Assembler 3 Marion, NC*
**DESCRIPTION:**
Observe all safety, quality, and production expectations necessary to properly serve our customers. Visually inspect, assemble, and package product to customer specifications. Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:**
* Observe and follow all safety rules, plans, policies, and expectations
* Maintain quality standards established for the assembly and/or packaging of product
* Work efficiently and achieve established production standards
* Follow work instructions and ISO established standards
* Operate hoists and material handling equipment as necessary to manipulate product
* Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
* Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves as necessary
* Attach identifying tags or labels to materials
* Operate lift trucks to load and unload materials as needed
* Pickup and deliver materials to and from storage and work areas as needed
* Via computer entry, maintain counts, weights, and material receipt and movement records
* Attendance is an essential function of the job
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:**
* High school diploma or GED.
* 6 Months experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception
* Routinely reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
* Frequently required to stand and walk
* Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
