**Description**

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Handler

* Ensure product is packaged appropriately.

* Label & stock inventory. Perform applicable inventory transactions.

* Band and/or plastic wrap all skids of material.

* Bring material to and from work centers. Verify that counts and inventory transactions are complete.

Inventory

* Cycle counting

* Order or requistion manufacturing supplies as applicable for printing and stock availability

* When components are in stock, work with manufacturing to determine when they need the product.

Receiving

* Receive, inspect and process paperwork, per ISO procedures.

* Process rejected material per ISO procedures

* Work closely with EIT(Extrusion Improvement Technician) and MIT(Machine Improvement Technician).

Shipping

* Communicate/coordiante shipment information with truck lines (internal & external), suppliers and throughout Alexandria Industries

* Process paperwork for all shipments

* Follow indicated instructions pertaining to customers

* Responsible for loading truck in the most cost efficient way for deliveries

Shuttle Driver; In addition to responsibilities in primary area:

* Deliver and pickup product

* Stock product at external warehouses.

* Keep track of non-inventory items at external warehouses.

* To maintain trucks and trailers as necessary

All

* Completely understand inventory transactions. This includes but is not limited to-when to use, how to process and how they affect inventory balances.

* Help keep plant cleared up. Follow 6S to sustain area.

* Know ans strive to assist in attaining the department goals in regards to inventory accuracy

* All other duties as assigned.
