Job Type Full-time Description The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for operating the DOL Reutilization Store (DOLMart), providing customer service to DOL Federal and contractor employees. This includes, but is not limited to receiving, storing and issuing materials, equipment, and other items, as well as keeping accurate records and inventory. This position is currently part-time, on-call. The pay rate while working as a Warehouse Specialist is $22.38, pay rate while performing Driver duties is $$24.14. The schedule will be determined by the Site supervisor. Role and Responsibilities

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without difficulty
  • Execute administrative functions such as data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Maintain storage areas
  • Sort and perform limited testing and evaluation on Government-specified incoming surplus items provide property disposition recommendations to the Government.
  • Prepare items for transport, including appropriate documentation.
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle, up to a commercial 16' to 26' truck, if authorized to do so. This requires a clean driving record, verified by an MVR. CDL is not required but would be a plus.
  • Obtain appropriate signatures for pick-up/delivery of items.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in warehousing support, plus shall have, or be able to earn the National Property Management Association's (NPMA) Certified Personal Property Specialist (CPPS) certification within six months of starting at DOL and maintain throughout the duration of the contract as a condition of continued employment.
  • Forklift experience is required. Selected candidate will be required to undergo Forklift training and obtain a forklift certification as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be alcohol and drug-free and willingly submit to periodic drug testing.
  • Must pass a background check
