- Ensure patient safety and comfort to patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor the patient's level of consciousness and vital signs.
- Provide reassurance and education to patients and family members.
- Assess patients, deliver care to ventilator dependent patients, and monitor dressings.
- One or more year(s) of current experience within the Peri anesthesia Care Unit.
- Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
- Follows Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
QUALIFICATIONSLicense/Certification:
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- BLS
- BSN from accredited nursing program
- Active unencumbered Texas RN license
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of current PACU experience
Certification:
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Requirements:
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
