This position is responsible for the production of loan documentation and for providing support to lenders in the Sioux City Loan Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare commercial and consumer loan documentation
- Prepare loan documentation request for employment and deposit verifications
- Assist all lenders and originators with processing and closing of all types of loans
- Order flood certifications
- Monitor loan files for completeness, insurance coverage, and annual review
- Monitor loan servicing reports and procedures
- Assist customers with loan transactions (payments and advances)
- Prepare HmDa and Federal Home Loan eligibility information for reporting to home office
- Provide support for other credit administrators
- Answer loan department telephone calls regarding loan status and interest rate inquiries
- Answer and direct general bank telephone calls
QualificationsEducation
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge and Experience
- 3+ years of loan processing experience, specifically loan document preparation, preferred
- Knowledge of commercial and/or residential mortgage processing functions
Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Successful customer service background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software
