JOB OVERVIEW The Cabin Dispatcher role is to demonstrate knowledge of proper cabin usage, safety, and security and demonstrate leadership skills, leading by example. This position must have planning skills and be responsible to assist with scheduling crews for flights. Work closely with airline clients in coordinating and allocating teams to flights to perform clean and security services related to cabin operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for enforcing the safety and security of the cabin
  • Instruct the team on cabin service operational functions and task
  • Work under pressure while maintaining near 100% on-time performance
  • Review daily reports and assures tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Communicate efficiently with AA, crews, tower, and upper management on daily reports as needed
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure on-time performance of flights
  • Comply with all security requirements of air carriers
  • Make sure that all flights are properly assigned with Cabin service crews via our GHDS system
  • Report all operational issues to the management team in a timely manner
  • Communicate with the crew chiefs and drivers on duty according to operational need
  • Utilize all technology available to communicate with the airline (Connect me, Saber, and Cabin Appearance)
  • Supports all additional requests made by the airline
  • Report all services provided to the aircraft for billing purposes
  • Must be able to support and follow operational direction
  • Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE
  • 1 year of planning or dispatching relevant experience
  • 1 year or more airport operation ground service or relevant experience
  • Must have computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite i.e. Excel and word
SKILL and/or ABILITIES
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish / English
  • Must have great leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a teamwork environment and delegate tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must be professional appearance and adhere to company grooming/uniform policy
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.
