Overview

Kimley-Horn's Williamsburg, VA (Virginia) office is seeking a Project Manager with 12+ years of experience to expand our Energy team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

* Our Energy team works on projects including:

* Pipeline Design

* Solar Site Design

* Natural Gas Metering and Regulation Stations

* Control Design and Integration

* Wind Energy

* Transmission Line Design

* Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules

* This is an exciting opportunity to build a team of engineers and designers leading a variety of projects

* You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships

* You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors

Qualifications

* 12+ years of relevant engineering design experience

* Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

* Candidates should have experience within the Energy discipline including experience with leading the design and permitting and financials

* Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks

* Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards

* Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting
