Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on position involved in assisting our technicians and customers in our service department. This is a fast-paced environment with high expectations where you are rewarded for doing exceptional work. This position is essential to the success of our shop and will be responsible for the following:
- Assigning repair orders to the appropriate technicians and making sure the work is done efficiently
- Encouraging a safe working environment and appropriate use of PPE
- Assisting Service Manager in training personnel and resolving customer complaints
- Maintaining the highest possible standards of workmanship
- Developing systems to check for quality of workmanship and jobs performed
- Striving for teamwork and harmony with other departments
- Working with parts department to ensure proper parts stocking of high use parts
- Communicating effectively with all customers and coworkers in a manner that reflects positively on one self, the dealership, and the brands
- All other duties assigned
Requirements
- Detail/customer oriented
- Excellent follow up skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and adapt to constantly changing priorities
- General computer knowledge and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Displays a can-do attitude that focuses on accountability and solutions
- Self-motivated
- Mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience working in a heavy-duty shop is preferred
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
