With Bobbie, we hope you can Bottle Boldly.The Role:We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Production Manager to join our dynamic team at our Heath, Ohio manufacturing facility. This person will be responsible for consistently finding ways to improve Bobbie's production processes and structures to help drive our success. This role primarily covers the 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) but also requires flexibility to cover the 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am) as needed.What you will accomplish:
  • Monitor and review project build schedules to identify potential issues and proactively resolve them, ensuring timely delivery and production efficiency.
  • Uphold and ensure the attainment of desired product quality levels by implementing standard work procedures, providing training in operational and inspection techniques, and utilizing relevant tools and data.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards, including GMP, HACCP, and FDA guidelines specific to infant formula production.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and health standards, implementing measures to maintain an accident-free work environment.
  • Support and implement new, customer-focused processes in accordance with lean principles and practices.
  • Provide training and coaching to improve standard work, work center organization (5S), and housekeeping. Actively provide change leadership as required.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address equipment maintenance, safety protocols, work center schedules, company policies and practices, and performance improvement plans.
  • Identify and address process-related challenges, supporting production staff in implementing corrective actions to enhance team performance and overall productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive success in KPIs and business objectives.
  • Implement and monitor production processes, equipment maintenance, and improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Lead, train, and develop production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Monitor and control production costs and budgets to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Utilize strong data analytics skills and business acumen to drive strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for operational improvements and growth.
What we would like you to have:
  • Experience working in a food or beverage manufacturing facility required. Experience in the US FDA Infant Formula, kosher, and/or organic food production environment strongly preferred.
  • People management experience required.
  • Proven success in maintaining and fostering effective relationships and communication with key support functions to improve operations and ensure effective support of the manufacturing process.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, including understanding of CAPA systems and interrelated systems.
  • Proficiency in Kaizen methodologies for continuous improvement, including 5 Whys, 8-step problem solving, and difficulty impact metrics.
  • Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and tools, particularly in heavy processing environments (aseptic/general).
  • Strong data analysis and budgeting skills, with the ability to track and optimize key metrics.
  • Experience in production budgeting and financial management preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
  • Willingness to work off-shift and be on call after normal business hours.

Compensation and Benefits:CompensationOur salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. The salary for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 annually.Benefits
