The AED partners closely with the Executive Director/CEO to chart the agencys future growth and strategic response to community needs, along with evolving industry and market trends.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the AED is a key liaison among staff, programs and operations. The AED collaborates with the management team to evaluate, plan and implement policies, procedures and standards that support quality, efficient services. The AED demonstrates capacity to absorb complex issues, organize effective strategy and effectively carry the strategy to completion, ensuring and coordinating the flow of information throughout the organization.

The AED provides day-to-day leadership, collaborates on decision making, and monitors the operations for regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibilities while ensuring the program personnel uphold agency standards. The AED is responsible for responding to all urgent matters to administer quick and efficient resolutions, while keeping the Executive Director/CEO apprised of all information.

* Provide consistent, forward-thinking leadership to all administrative staff in the areas of advocacy, client services and programming.

* Actively develop and oversee direct application of effective strategies for achievement of policy goals and program outcomes to secure sustainable business developments.

* Oversee the day-to-day operations across all agency sites.

* Formulate and manage budgets, operating and financial plans.

* Monitor service provision and business processes to secure fiscal viability in alignment with operating budgets.

* Build and maintain positive working relationships with representatives of member agencies, advocacy groups, legislative, government representatives and other stakeholders.

* Maintain up to date knowledge of OMH, OASAS and County regulations.

A Licensed Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health Counseling with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience. Relevant experience must include supervisory or managerial experience of a mental health program and/or medical health program, providing service coordination and information, linkages and referrals for community-based services to children and families with mental health needs, complex trauma, and/or individuals with disabilities.

North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center is seeking full-time talented, dedicated clinical supervisors to join our growing team. We have positions available in a variety of programs, including our school-based mental health services, triage/emergency and outpatient mental health services that bring hope and healing to children and teens experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral issues.

To learn about this position and be part of an exciting, growing agency. * Provide clinical supervision (individually and in a group setting), assist clinical staff with managing their caseloads, maintain clinical standards for their clients and oversee applicable regulatory requirements.

* Work alongside the Director of Clinical Services to provide direction, provision, and quality to ensure compliance/quality with agency policies and monitor the program census and budget.

* Responsible for the coordination and integration of counseling services with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each client; ensure that the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning of clients is provided by appropriately trained and qualified clinical staff as specified in the clients treatment plan; and properly documented throughout the clients chart as required by agency policies.

* Monitor treatment and behavioral approaches that are evidenced-based.

* Provide clinical coverage for supervisees and conduct intakes as needed.

* Provide opportunities for student training within their programs.

* Complete all administrative tasks including annual evaluations, monitoring PTO, hiring, training, etc.

* Flexibility with schedule including a minimum of two evenings per week.

* Graduate degree and NYS Licensed required LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

* At least 3 years supervisory and program administration experience with relevant clinical experience, preferably in Community Mental Health, Substance Use &/or Child Welfare.

* Graduate of a medical school approved by the NY State Education Department.

* Completion of fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.

* Completion of approved residency in psychiatry.

* Licensed to practice medicine in NY State.

* NY State License to practice medicine, in good standing.

* Active DEA license.

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines.

* Excellent assessment, diagnostic and psychopharmacological treatment skills.

* Strong clinical skills working with individuals with mental illness, including both individually and in group therapy.

* Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required.
