This position of Crane Operator is responsible for all operating functions as listed below. Running the crane must be understood in total with the focus of utilizing the equipment to meet all thequality and productivity goals as outlined in our quality system.DUTIESESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Listed below are the primary activities which must be learned,understood and followed according to work instructions. The normaltime frame for completion of training is approximately three months.The Process Engineer / Supervisor will monitor each person'sprogression and provide any necessary instruction or direction asdeemed necessary during the training period.Loading of scrap basket with stainless and carbon scrap per heat recipeUnloading of scrap from railroad cars (and trucks) and placing in designated bin.Any other crane operation.Miscellaneous: Performed as necessary or when assigned by a supervisora. Follow all prescribed safety rulesb. Housekeepingc. Periodic maintenance check of equipmentd.
