Job DetailsPosition Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage Up to 50% Job Shift Day Job Category Inventory Description WeldFit is looking for a hardworking, motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join the team. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and making sure all inventory is accounted for on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Duties/Expectations:
- Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
- Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis
- Monitor delivery schedule
- Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed
- Other duties to be assigned as needed
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- 3 - 5 years experience in related field
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Bend and kneel
Required Skills:
- Syteline experience preferred but not required
- Strong Microsoft Office Knowledge
- Inventory Management
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Good Communication Skills
