The Continuous Delivery mission is to create modern end to end continuous delivery to deploy software features faster and boost Disneys position in the marketplace. To that end the Sr. Manager will bring together code, test automation, security, and deployments so that reliable and secure software releases are continuously available.

We are looking for an experienced technical leader to provide thought leadership and execution excellence.

This Leader will be the primary decision maker for standards, methods, and best practices used throughout all areas of responsibility. Decisions made by this leader will have a significant impact on the efficiency and reliability of Disneys supported business functions. The Sr. Manager will manage multiple teams, driving the completion of short-term initiatives which will result in the success of long-term strategic goals. This position reports to the Director, Software Engineering. **Responsibilities:**

* Formulate strategies and operating plans for software delivery automation

* Regularly reviews existing systems, policies, and practices, and provides thought leadership while identifying solutions that enhance service delivery efficiency, and enhance the current environment

* Negotiates dependencies and priorities with stakeholders and internal customers, and determines resourcing needs as needed

* Partner with other engineering teams to improve delivery of technology solutions

* Recruit, train and develop high performing and results driven staff

* All other duties that drive key business outcomes

**Basic Qualifications:**

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

* At least 10 years of previous and relevant experience in technology engineering or operations with experience in CI/CD systems

* At least 5 years of experience managing a team

* Advanced Experience with Amazon Web Services-based infrastructure and management

* Expertise in configuring, deploying, and supporting web frameworks at scale on Linux, Windows, and container platforms

* Familiarity with the Agile methodology

* Architectural experience with Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Nexus, Artifactory, Gitlab CI, CircleCI or similar tools

* Experience with configuration automation with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, or CloudFormation Templates

* Strong foundations with application deployment techniques

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Advanced Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline

* Proficient working with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, or CloudFormation Templates, or other configuration management tools

* Proficient with version control systems (Git, TFS, SVN)

* Experience with patch management automation
