About the School Bus Dispatcher Position Consolidated Bus Transit is looking for new qualified team members to join our dispatch team! - Data entry skills required (inputting information in the system)

Responsibilities
- Monitor daily driver route assignments
- Effectively and efficiently communicate accurate vehicle location updates with the Department of Education, partnering schools, and parents
- Communicate details and driving assignments to drivers to ensure peak driver on-time performance when service may be disrupted
- Direct drivers who may require assistance to specified locations for special events field trips, etc.
- Efficiently conduct internal data entries within the scope of driver accidents, passenger /driver incidents, and mechanical issues (breakdowns).
- Reports directly to the general manager for all concerns that need additional assistance and guidance to maintain business integrity
