Seeking experienced, strong line cooks for fast-paced, high-volume, short order service restaurant. Must be able to multi-task, produce dishes consistently according to in-house standards, set-up/break down/maintain station set-ups and inventory, work cleanly and adhere to NYCDOB rules and regulations and be a team player. RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service in a high-quality and timely manner Execute and serve menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Maintain and breakdown station appropriately Comply with all safety and sanitation practices and procedures Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers REQUIREMENTS At least 2yrs line cook experience Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry's best practices Ability to lift up to 50lbs NYC Food Handler's Certificate and/or ServSafe is a plus
