Job DetailsJob Location Long Island City - Long Island City, NY Position Type Full-Time Exempt Salary Range $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/year DescriptionTitle: SQL DeveloperUnit: IT and Information Systems Reports to: Director of IT Status: Full Time; Regular; Exempt Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Location: Long Island City, Queens To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The responsibilities and requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, experience and/or ability required. Position Summary: This position is responsible for the maintenance and support of the agency's internal SQL Server databases. The individual will be supporting the maintenance and development of SQL code and T-SQL procedures, Power BI reports, and Microsoft Reporting Services platform (SSRS) reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and develop SQL code, stored procedures and produce end-user reports to provide internal departments with correct and up to date information and report requirements.
  • Support and coordinate with internal departments and users, identifying needs and resolving database query and report issues.
  • Work with data and business analysts to support the defining of report specifications and data analytics needs.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have experience with MS SQL Server development (T-SQL), 3+ years.
  • Experience with designing and deploying reports built with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with understanding and interpreting business processes and functional requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate problems and exercise solid judgement.
  • Work in a team-environment and able to coordinate and communicate with team members, supporting team projects, and willing to suggest alternate solutions where applicable.
  • Proven experience in working with results-driven, customer-service oriented support teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.
  • Prior experience working within a non-profit organization and healthcare EHR a plus.
