Description: User Experience Group Manager The User Experience Group Manager is a senior level leadership role, managing multiple teams in the research, analysis and design of digital products and systems. User Experience partners with Product and Technology colleagues to create innovative and intuitive digital products that deliver best-in-class user experience and usability to our clients, both internally and externally. We undertake a wide spectrum of activities, from discovery and research, through definition, ideation and design, to the management of design systems and the delivery of interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs to our development partners. The UX Design Group's primary goal is to research and design products and solutions that are streamlined, intuitive, consistent, accessible, great-looking, and easy-to-use, which perfectly suit (or even anticipate) our clients' needs. Responsibilities: •Lead a large team, managing multiple major or complex projects from start to completion, with overall responsibility for delivery •Build and develop a high-quality team, coaching and developing team leads and senior designers •Work as a highly effective manager of managers providing guidance and opportunities for junior managers to grow and thrive •Define and refine a formal UX research and design process for the team, ensuring delivery of high quality, repeatable results •Identify metrics and data to support decision-making, guiding tech partners where needed to add necessary metrics •Work closely with users, stakeholders, business analysts, product managers and development teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions •Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs •Perform various flavors of testing to validate and inform design decisions •Provide development teams with high quality assets, handover, and ongoing guidance to ensure they have all they need to implement your designs, with regular UX review checkpoints as needed. •Direct engagement with clients whenever necessary and possible •Regular, transparent communication of status and metrics to management and stakeholders •Continuous seeking of opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process •Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools •Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility •Deliver on-time, identifying and managing risks to ensure timelines are met, and escalating where needed •Confidently challenge substandard work within the team, and provide constructive feedback, coaching and guidance to resolve •Identify and articulate design and technical conflicts between colleagues and/or local stakeholders and help to resolve these. •Promote the value of UX within the wider organization •Contribute to the wider UX community of practice •Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Major Global Bankgroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Qualifications: •10+ years of relevant experience, •4+ years successfully leading design teams •Proven time and project management skills •Significant experience working with senior clients, stakeholders, and developers •Exceptional communication and presentation skills •Strong skills in professional design tools e.g., Sketch, Invision, Figma, AdobeXD, Axure •Experience working with agile methodology •Experience working with third party service providers •Financial services knowledge or experience •Practical knowledge of software development Education: •Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred 171104 Please see our complete list of jobs at: www.rmscorp.com
