The company is driven by significant enhancements to its platforms and offerings, with the goal of becoming the preeminent destination for luxury internationally.Role Summary:As a Staff Engineer, Salesforce, you will be responsible for designing and building robust, scalable, and secure solutions on the Salesforce platform with a focus to build custom reusable web components, data integrations, and solve technical challenges for multiple business units. You will serve as a technical lead on a multi-functional team that addresses strategic business initiatives for Saks' eCommerce business and Customer Service organization.Key Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' of experience performing relevant engineering job functions, preferably in the eCommerce space.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with mastery of Apex programming, JavaScript, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and experience with multiple Salesforce products: OMS, OCI, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Mulesoft.
  • Demonstrated Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills, including deep knowledge of statistical analysis, Excel, SQL, and/or other analytical techniques
  • Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods and platforms
  • Solid experience in architecture/design and implementation of high performing, highly scalable, and customer-facing websites/applications
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java/Kotlin, Spring, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Eclipse IDEs, and JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
Role Description:
  • Design, build and manage activities for a large range of Salesforce products, from product definition and planning through ideation, release, iterations and end of life
  • Translate and process business requirements to technical solutions for the Engineering team.
  • Provide technical leadership for multi-year, cross-team initiatives with a high degree of ambiguity, complexity, and risk that must be executed in phases.
  • Build a strong team culture through collaboration, and leading by example to establish best practices and elevate your teammates.
  • Design and build scalable solutions on the Salesforce eCommerce and Core platforms using Apex, LWC, SOQL, Web Services, JQuery, React, VS Code, GitHub, SQL Server, java
  • Deliver customer value by meeting and exceeding launch deadlines, optimizing feature sets, and helping craft the product roadmap.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure changes adhere to best practices, standards and performance limits.
