We are looking for talented hard-working individuals to join our growing team – your professional home awaits you at Wayfair!Hourly Pay$22.79/hrShiftSunday - Wednesday 6:00am - 4:30pmBenefits (Start Day 1!)Referral bonusesOvertime hours & pay401(k) with company match with company matchWayfair company discountBenefits start day oneGrowth opportunities (Conversions, Promotions, and more!)What You'll DoMaintain and operate battery changing station including removal and replacement of lift batteries (at applicable sites)Operates floor sweeper / scrubber to maintain facility floorGeneral building maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and paintingDispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA and Wayfair safety policies and proceduresConduct daily/weekly preventative maintenance and completes daily log sheetPerform pre-operation checklist and verify all safety devices are functional at all timesMaintain a clean and safe work areaComplete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documentsPerform other job-related duties as directed by Manager/SupervisorMaintain a good attendance recordWhat You'll NeedHigh School Diploma or Equivalent is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and basic carpentry and maintenance experience including carpentry, painting, plumbingExperience safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and aerial liftsProficient using hand and power tools and computers to perform required dutiesPrevious battery charger/changer experience is a plusMust be flexible on working hours and willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtimeAbility to regularly bend, lift, stretch, crawl and reach, engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists and stand and walk for long periodsMust be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs unassistedAbility to access all areas of the building by climbing ladders and gangways safely and without limitationAbility to work in a non-climate controlled environment that can be noisy and unlitFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelinesAbility to work independently, as part of a team and take directionMust be a safety conscious, motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with a positive attitudeAssistance for Individuals with DisabilitiesWayfair is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
