Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team in Broken Bow, NE. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your role will include assisting with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands
- Follow care plans and provide updates to the care team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
