The Day Care Monitor will take care of the needs of children placed in the day care facility while providing a safe and supervised environment.Essential Duties:* Maintains a safe environment for children placed in day care.* Ensures that established rules of the day care center are enforced and adhered to.* Maintains an attractive, orderly appearance in the day care center.* Assists with the facilitation of entertaining and educational activities for the children.* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.* Regular and reliable attendance.* Performs other duties as required.Education/Experience:* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:* Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks, hears, stands and walks, climbs or balances; stoops, and kneels. Occasionally sits, crouches, or crawls; tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 45 pounds.Certificates/Licenses:* CPR and First Aid Certification. Applicable State or County Health Card and Sheriff's Card.
