We currently have an opening for a Facilities Supervisor to join our Krause Funeral Home in Brookfield, WI. The Facility Supervisor coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Assists with multiple functions of facilities operations and care for a portfolio of national commercial sites and related properties.Overview & Responsibilities:
- Maintains the highest standards of customer service
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with site leaders
- Coordinates, oversees, and manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors
- Holds responsible for facilities inspections and reports
- Coordinates and manages moves, adds, and change activities
- Obtains and reviews proposals for the procurement of equipment and services
- Holds vendors to a high standard of performance
- Reviews and monitor daily work order report and weekly work order report
- Assures optimal functioning of building systems
- Tracks and updates stakeholders on projects
- Assists in special projects for the department as needed
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of three to five years of related experience in commercial facilities management and property management
- Certification in facilities management is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and planning skills; time management skills, and the ability to prioritize work
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to sensitive issues
- Ability to use a work order system
- Knowledge of leases, contracts, and related documents
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
